TASNEEF provides classification services during the construction of new ships and craft. From the design stage through to delivery, our surveyors verify that the vessel is built in accordance with the society’s rules, providing owners and shipyards with independent assurance of quality from the very start of the vessel’s life.
The service begins with a technical review of the design plans and drawings to confirm compliance with applicable rules. During construction, TASNEEF inspects and certifies the materials and principal equipment fitted on board, including engines, generators, and other essential machinery, and conducts surveys at the shipyard to confirm that the construction meets the required standard. Our surveyors act impartially throughout and attend the vessel’s sea trials wherever it is built.
